How to bypass your memory card without a password?

Hey there! Alright, today, I'm gonna show you how to literally bypass your forgotten password of your memory card. Well, this stuff works for Nokia. And I'm quite ssure the same works for others too (See here). There are two simple methods. One, without using a secondary software by directly accessing your phone's directory using a file explorer and the other, using a third-party app called FExplorer and reclaiming your lost password.

The two steps differ in the way you obtain the key file. Here, the keyfile is a file named 'mmcstore'. It contains the password of the memory card within it. But you need to access this file which is a system file from your mobile. Different mobiles have different methods to acquire this file but the first method works for all Nokia handsets (This maybe different in the newer, i.e, Anna or Belle versions).

Directly Sending MMCSTORE to your PC via your phone (No Apps required)
  1. Go to file manager on your mobile.
  2. In the “Settings” option.
  3. Choose system folders.
  4. In the “System” folder, there’s a file called “MMCSTORE”.
  5. Send that to your PC using Bluetooth.
  6. Then open it in notepad. The password you need for your memory card is in that file. Use it to unlock your phone.
Using FExplorer to obtain MMCSTORE
  1. Insert card into your phone but don’t access it through phone.
  2. Download FExplorer from here and install it on your phone.
  3. Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.
  4. You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt
  5. Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.
  6. You will find your password in that file.
Hope this helped you. If you are facing any trouble while doing this, feel free to share it with me via comments. If this really helps you, please do rate and give your feedbacks on it. Will be out with more tips, hacks and tricks later. Till then, Adios!
