Nokia Event hints at Lumia 900, 610 launch on July 6 in India

That's right. Nokia has sent out flyers to several publishers on an event taking place on July 6, coming Friday about a special event which was nearly titled as "...and the Dark Knight rises". Now that could only mean one thing for sure -- of course, the Dark Knight rises special edition Lumia handsets. Before I jump to more about the story, take a look at the invite for tomorrow's event.

Now this was one of the most anticipated stuff, even for me. Yeah, and I'm pretty sure its the Lumia 900 alright. But it's so surprising. The Batman Special Edition Lumia 900 to be showcased at the time of the debut. It's fascinating for me and if the Lumia 900's arriving tomorrow, so would the much expected Lumia 610, Nokia's cheapest Windows Phone yet.

The Special Edition Lumia 900 is so catchy, hot and sexy too. A black finish with a batman logo and a cool new Dark Knight theme and a special App, this limited edition got my eyes. Check out a still of the Limited Edition Dark Knight Rises Lumia 900 given below.

While the specs remain the same, Lumia 900's design is the winning move to attract customers towards it. Frankly, It even got my jaw dropped and I'm so looking forward to get a Lumia 900, maybe the Limited Edition itself. If you are still unaware of the specs of Lumia 900, let me wind it up for you. The Lumia 900 packs a 1.4GHz Single-Core Qualcomm processor with a 512MB of RAM and runs on the latest Windows Phone OS available, the Windows Phone Tango. The phone also has an 8MP camera and a 4.3" AMOLED ClearBlack Display and 16GB of internal memory making it one of the best available WP in the market. There are no exact pricing reports but it should be around Rs. 40,000 according to most of the internet's trusted tech sites.

While the Lumia 900 is perhaps a feature of tomorrow's event, the most awaited feature is perhaps the launch of Lumia 610, Nokia's cheapest Windows Phone yet aiming the students and commoners. While Lumia 610's specs may seem low, they are enough to run most of your apps and games without a single lag. It sports a 3.7-inch display, 5MP camera, 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 256MB RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The Mobile Indian has reported that this smartphone will cost around Rs 11,000.

I also expect the Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition Lumia 800 too, to launch tomorrow along with LD Lumia 900. And who knows what else Nokia has got to unveil tomorrow. Wait and watch.
