Nokia 'Catwalk' teased; Nokia event tomorrow

Nokia isn't shy to show off what's coming next in the Lumia series. The Finnish company has recently teased the next Lumia across the UK channels and now its live on YouTube. From the teaser, it very well matches with the highly rumoured Windows Phone, codenamed 'Catwalk'.

From the Ad, its pretty clear that the phone matches the rumoured pic of Catwalk that was leaked a few months ago. It seems the new smartphone is mainly focused on the camera. The teaser shows of the dual LED flashes and a big Sensor which is bulged out of the back. "More than yours eyes can see" is the caption of the teaser. It could very well mean a better camera or well, way to capture more area. But lets just leave that for tomorrow.

A leaked image of the rumoured 'Catwalk'. It matches the phone in the teaser.

Looking at the rumoured specs, the Catwalk will sport the following new features while missing some of the existing ones.
  • Aluminium body instead of poly-carbonate.
  • Lighter and Thinner than the Lumia 920.
  • 8.7 MP sensor with dual LED flash. Unlike the Lumia 928, there wouldn't be any Xenon flash unit.
  • Better low-light and daylight photography.
  • Optical Image Stabilization and Pureview tech.
  • 4.5" OLED display with PureView HD+
  • 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4
  • 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with expandable storage
  • A 2000mAh battery
The Lumia 928 was officially announced a few days ago and Nokia is also expected to show off the Verizon flagship at the event which goes live tomorrow at around 2 PM IST.

Apart these, some rumours suggest that Nokia may also unveil the highly rumoured EOS, the 808 parallel Lumia phone sporting the 41MP sensor and the first Nokia tablet but there are less probabilities.

So, what do you think? Can the next Lumia help Nokia and Microsoft hold their ground and show off their presence in the smartphone battle? Will it be the phone you've all waited for or will it be a show-off? Find out tomorrow at the Nokia live event at London.
