Nokia PureView 808 debuts tomorrow in India

It's official. After a long wait and much anticipation, the Nokia PureView 808 will debut in India tomorrow, June 13, according to the company. You must have already noticed the ads on the sites. The PureView 808 is a 41MP camera packed giant.

Although the release date is scheduled for tomorrow, no official pricing details isn't available yet. But the camera giant is expected to be around Rs. 30,000.

Ever since Mobile World Congress, the PureView 808 became a crowd-puller gathering major attraction from all parts of the world. The PureView 808 packs a whooping 41MP Camera with AutoFocus and uses Nokia's new PureView Pro Imaging Technology which gives superior quality images. It's news was shocking to many people as they thought a Smartphone with a 41MP camera was a joke. But Nokia proved it wasn't playing around.

The PureView 808 is one among the Nokia handsets that is expected bring back the companies lost fortunes and to help it get back to the smartphone competition. A Windows Phone based PureView is also under work and is expected to be revealed by Q4.

Other than the camera and the imaging technology, the PureView is based on the latest Symbian platform, Nokia Belle OS. It also has a 1.3GHz ARM processor which will give enough speed and performance and a 512MB RAM. It has a 16GB internal memory and is expandable via a microSD card.

Nokia expects to see a bright future with the debut of PureView 808 and is expected to give positive results for the company. People are also anxious to see the latest camera giant from the company. However, if you can wait, the Lumia PureView is on the way.
